With generous support from community members like you, our Foundation can help those in our community in need of services they otherwise cannot afford. With our Adult Day Services program, your donation helps families caring for loved ones with Alzheimer's, dementia or other physical challenges get respite needed, while their loved ones are cared for in a warm, friendly facility staffed by Aurora medical professionals and volunteers. Built on hospital grounds in 2005, the “1022 Club” offers an array of services to its clients, including bathing, meals and interactive activities, which stimulate cognitive abilities. Many families aren't able to afford this service. The ranch-style home is located adjacent to Aurora Medical Center in Washington County at 1022 East Sell Drive, is owned by the Medical Center Foundation of Hartford and operated by Aurora Medical Center in Washington County. The Medical Center Foundation of Hartford, Inc., constructed this beautiful facility through donations from Hartford and the surrounding communities. Transportation may be arranged by calling the countywide Shared Ride Taxi Service at 888-285-8294. Our Personal Emergency Response Program offers a 24-hour connection to highly trained professionals, advanced personal monitoring technologies and peace of mind for elderly or disabled individuals living alone. How the program work? Subscribers wear a lightweight, waterproof button. In the event the subscriber needs assistance of any kind, they need only press their button to activate the help console installed in their home, which then dials the Response Center, putting them in touch with immediate help. Some people can afford the $25 per month charge for, the service, but many cannot. That's why your donation to the Medical Center Foundation of Hartford is needed to help cover the costs for some program clients. We think it is an important part of keeping people safe and independent. Transportation is available for patients with medical appointments at Aurora Medical Center in Washington County, Adult Day Services in Hartford, Ambulatory Care Center in Hartford, Aurora Health Center in Hartford and Aurora Health Center in Slinger, and serves residents of Washington County. This service is made possible by donations from caring people like you. Often, elderly and disabled individuals do not have the means to get to their appointments. Your donations provide this much-needed service at a very low cost to the patient. The Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) program serves residents of Washington County. With the increasing numbers of victims seen each year, the need to have the most current information and latest technology is imperative. A gift to the Foundation's Greatest Need Fund allows the Foundation flexibility to respond to unexpected needs that arise within our hospital. The Gift of RemembranceBenefiting the patients, programs and services of Aurora Medical Center in Washington County. A gift to the Tribute Fund is a meaningful way to honor or remember friends and family members. A gift can be made in memory of someone special or in recognition of a significant event, such as an anniversary, birthday, retirement or recovery from illness. When you make a contribution to The Tribute Fund, you will receive an acknowledgment of your gift. Notification will also be promptly sent to the person or family you designate. No mention of the amount of the gift is made. Gifts received in memory or in honor of an individual are recognized in the local newspapers as a tribute of love and respect.
