Big Kids & New Baby
Register under child's name, each child must be registered separately (mom/dad are included in registration) Please include in your registration, child's gender (under note section) and date of birth. This allows the instructor to prepare ahead of time the certificates of completion. For children ages 3 - 8 years old.
This class is designed to help siblings understand their feelings regarding becoming a big brother or sister, how a baby grows, preparing for a baby at home and helping to care for the new baby. Parent involvement will be needed to assist their child with activities.
It is recommended that you attend this class in your 6th or 7th month of pregnancy. Register early because class size is limited. A tour of the birthing center will be included.
Check in at front desk for class room location. Bring to class:
- a doll/stuffed animal to diaper
- cameras/video recorders are welcome.
Payment information: Pre-payment is required to reserve your place in class. If you choose to pay by check, please make check payable to Women's Health Services and mail to AMCG, Attn: LDRP/Childbirth Education, 975 Port Washington Road, Grafton, WI 53024.
Refunds will be issued for cancellations received 72 hours prior to the start of class.
Bad Weather Cancellations: Classes may be canceled due to severe inclement weather or unsafe travel conditions. Cancellations will be announced on TMJ4 Television and radio station or call the Women's and Children's Care Center at 262-329-4700.
