Heartsaver, First Aid, CPR and AED

THIS CLASS DOES NOT TAKE THE PLACE OF THE HEALTHCARE PROVIDER COURSE THAT EMPLOYEES OF AURORA HEALTH CARE NEED TO HAVE!

Heartsaver, First Aid, CPR and AED

Where is class - Class is held on the second floor of the Sports Medicine Building next to Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay, WI. (When you get off the elevator, take a right to the room.)

This class includes:
• First Aid basics (including scene safety, finding the problem, calling for help and more)
• Medical emergencies (including actions for choking, breathing problems, shock and more)
• Injury emergencies (including actions for bleeding, broken bones, burns and more)
• Environmental emergencies (including actions for bites and stings, and temperature-related and poison emergencies)
• Adult and child CPR AED (with mask)
• Child and infant choking

These are the skills tested for each courses:
• Taking off gloves
• Finding the problem
• Epinephrine pen use
• Stopping bleeding
• Adult CPR AED
• Child CPR AED

Upon completion of the class you will be certified in Heartsaver, First Aid, CPR and AED.
