How do you address the potential difficulties that an injured worker may experience when returning to work? Join us for this one-day course as we identify and explore real-life barriers and solutions for patients delayed in resuming gainful employment.

Through lecture, demonstration and breakout sessions, we'll focus on the physical, medical, psychological and legal ramifications of the injured worker including functional capacity evaluations and industrial rehabilitation practices.

Attendees will have a better understanding of:
• The complex interactions between the injured worker and interdisciplinary team to enhance return-to-work progress;
• The Wisconsin Worker's Compensation Law and its application to the injured worker; and
• The evaluation and treatment tools available for improving outcomes of the injured worker

This introductory-level course is designed for caregivers, case managers, and others dealing with return-to-work patients following work-place injuries.  Continuing education credits will be pursued on behalf of  OT, OTA, PT, PTA and LAT disciplines.
