Infant Massage

Where is class - Class is held on the second floor of the Sports Medicine Building next to Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay, WI. (When you get off the elevator, take a right to the room.)

Register mother only (parents and infant are included in the registration fee).

Attendance is recommended for baby's ages 1 - 12 months old.

This class teaches simple infant massage techniques that will help you bond with your newest family member. It's easy, healthy and fun. An Aurora BayCare Medical Center Massage Therapist teaches the class.

Topics include:

  • Benefits of massage therapy
  • Touch relaxation
  • Infant cues
  • Massage strokes
  • How massage promoted early brain development
  • Massage and colic relief

What to bring to class - Please plan to bring baby to class. Plan to dress comfortably and bring a blanket for the floor for baby to lie on.

Bad weather - Please call the hospital switchboard operator at (920) 288-8000 or toll free at (888) 863-5502 after 4 p.m. on weekdays or after 7 a.m. on weekends (the day of the class) to find out if the class has been canceled due to poor weather.

Registration/payment - Because class size is limited, prepayment is necessary to reserve your spot in class. You may register online or by phone at (888) 863-5502.

Changing registration - Please go online or call (888) 863-5502 to change or cancel class registrations.
