Free Screening for Oral, Head and Neck Cancer
An estimated 109,070 new cases of oral, head and neck cancer were diagnosed last year. Rates of oral, head and neck cancer related to the human papillomavirus (HPV) are on the rise, so screening for early detection is more important than ever. Signs of oral, head and neck cancer can include a lump in the neck, change in the voice, growth in the mouth, and even persistent earache. During Oral, Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Week, free screenings are being offered by the ENT physicians at the Aurora Wilkinson Medical Clinic in Summit. Screening is by appointment only - and space is limited. To register - call 262-434-5000, and ask for the ENT department.
