Chaplains are here to help with your spiritual needs. An on-call chaplain is available 24 hours a day. If you prefer to see your own clergy, please feel free to call them. Everyone is welcome to use our chapel (open 24 hours a day), located on the 1st floor of the hospital between Registration and the Emergency Department. We offer these services for patients who need them:
For patients and families who speak languages other than English:
Your doctor will talk with you about your discharge date. Please plan to leave the hospital by 11 a.m. on the day of discharge. If you have questions about your discharge, please ask your doctor or nurse. The hospital conducts many routine safety drills. You may see flashing lights or hear a series of bells or announcements that signal an emergency drill. During these drills, your door may be closed. Please stay in your room unless told otherwise by the nursing staff. Financial counselors can help if you have concerns about how you will pay your hospital bill. They will answer questions about your bill and discuss payment options. If you do not have insurance, they will help you find out if you qualify for Medicaid or other assistance programs. If you need help, please call the hospital and ask to speak with a financial counselor. If flowers arrive for you, we will bring them right to your room. No flowers are allowed in the intensive care units. Flowers and plants received after your discharge will be returned to the florist so they can be sent to your home. Latex balloons are not allowed in the hospital because many people are allergic to latex. While in the hospital, your doctor will prescribe a diet for you. If you have special diet restrictions or would like to receive kosher meals, please ask your nurse. At times, your meal may have to be changed, delayed, or canceled due to exams, tests or surgery. Check with your nurse before eating or drinking any food items brought to you by visitors. We offer room service. When you are admitted, you will receive a room service menu and telephone number. You may call this number and order food any time between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Our menus follow the American Heart Association guidelines for heart-healthy eating. If you need help with your order, please ask the nursing staff. In our gift shop you will find unique gifts, care products, seasonal items, fresh flowers and plants. Greeting cards, magazines and stamps are also sold there. Hours of operation To reduce the spread of germs, please do not visit a patient if you have symptoms of a cold, flu, or other illnesses. The patient's bathroom is for the patient's use only. Family and friends should use the public restrooms. Medical studies have shown that the waterless hand gel is the best method to clean hands. At certain times soap and water can be used. Remind people around you to use the hand gel or soap and water to clean their hands. To prevent losing your personal items (eyeglasses, dentures, hearing aids), please label and keep them in your bedside stand. These items could get lost if placed in the bedding, on food trays or in gown pockets. If you lose something, tell the nursing staff right away. Our security staff will make every effort to find it. If an item is found after you leave, we will contact you to arrange for pick-up or delivery. Medical equipment/electrical devices For your safety, electrical devices or appliances, including battery chargers and computers, cannot be brought into the intensive care units. In other areas of the hospital, these may be allowed but must be approved by your nurse. The clinical engineering staff may need to test some devices or appliances. Local newspapers can be purchased outside the entrance to the hospital. Ask your nursing assistant for help. A Registered Dietitian can talk with you to answer questions and help you plan meals. This session requires a doctor's order. Please call 262-670-7000 for an appointment. If family members need to stay overnight, we will try to provide on-site sleeping and shower accommodations. Ask the patient's nurse about this or for information about nearby lodging. Free parking is available on the east side of the main entrance at the intersection of Hwy. 60 and Sell Drive. Personal property and valuables Bring your ID and insurance cards with you to the hospital. You may also bring personal care items, pajamas, robe, slippers or shoes. Please put your name on all items, including eyeglasses, hearing aids and assistive devices (such as a cane or walker). Please do not bring valuables, large amounts of cash, personal papers or jewelry. You may receive a Patient Satisfaction Survey from the hospital asking about your stay. Please fill out the survey and mail it back in the stamped envelope provided. We take pride in the quality and service we provide to you, but we know that there is always room for improvement. We will consider your comments and respond to areas that need attention. Thank you for helping improve our hospital. For your safety, our property is patrolled 24 hours a day by security officers and electronic surveillance. The security staff will escort patients and visitors to their cars at night. They will also provide some emergency auto services upon request. Hospital Main Line (262) 673-2300 Administration

We will submit your bills to your insurance company. If they do not pay the entire claim, you will be asked to pay the balance in full. Please keep in mind that you will receive separate bills from doctors who treat you while you are in the hospital. In some cases, you may receive bills from doctors who have been asked to review your test results, even though you did not see the doctor in person. Pathologists, radiologists, cardiologists, and other specialists will bill you separately from your hospital bill. If you have questions about any bill, please call the number printed on your bill. To pay your bill online, click here. All payments are due in full by the date printed on your bill. If you need special arrangements, please call 800-958-6202 for help.
