We know how important the memory of your child's birth is and strive to make
it a precious one.Our birthing suites are set up to help you feel comfortable
in a home-like atmosphere. Your entire birthing experience – labor, delivery
and postpartum stay – will take place in the privacy of your very own room.
You'll appreciate the comforts of having a special birthing bed that
converts into a regular bed, a glider, a crib and additional accommodations
so that your loved ones and new baby can be together during your stay.

Washington County.
We recommend that you register early for classes, preferably during
the first 4-5 months of pregnancy. A support person is encouraged to
attend class with you. Classes are open to anyone regardless of where
their baby will be born. Your room
You'll be able to hold and nurse your new baby immediately after delivery as
your family remains with you in the privacy of your birthing suite. In fact,
you and your family are welcome and encouraged to have your infant in your
room as much as you wish. Family focused experience
You'll find we have a number of flexible labor and delivery options such as
traditional birthing methods, Lamaze and epidural-assisted delivery. We
believe that labor is a natural event and your personal choices will be
honored whenever possible. We'll also be happy to discuss any special
arrangements to satisfy the unique needs of your family.
When you're admitted, you can expect an initial evaluation to determine the
well-being of your baby. We'll explain, in full, the procedures to be used
during your labor and delivery according to the plan you have discussed with
your physician. Our goal is to help you make informed decisions about your
birthing. After you are discharged, a registered nurse will make a
follow-up phone call to make sure the transition from hospital to home went
smoothly.
