Assert your independence, protect yourself with Lifeline
Many adults with limited physical abilities or chronic health
conditions share a common dilemma. Is it possible to live as
independently as
you'd
like and still feel secure? Yes - it is! With Lifeline.
That's because Lifeline users wear a lightweight, waterproof
button. If they require assistance, they only have to press this
button to signal their Lifeline Home Unit to dial our Emergency
Department at Aurora Medical Center-Hartford. These caring, fully
trained professionals have all the medical and personal information
to get them help - quickly.
Because the Lifeline service uses voice-to-voice communication,
our staff can send the right type of help for any situation. Even if
you can't answer, we send assistance at once - whether it is a
neighbor, family member or ambulance. Our staff follows-through
every time to ensure help always arrives.
The Medical Center Foundation of Hartford in partnership with
Aurora Medical Center-Washington County offers this service on a pay
as you go basis.
