Recognize stroke symptoms by learning to think F.A.S.T.

  • F -- Ask the person to smile; does one side of the person's face droop?
  • A -- Ask the person to raise both arms.  Does one arm drift downward?
  • S -- Ask the person to repeat a simple sentence.  Is their speech slurred?
  • T -- If you observe any of these signs, then it's time to call 911.
