At its conception, the small clinic at Hope House had an annual
budget of only $50,000. Two moves and 12 years later, the annual budget
now reaches upwards of $700,000. The largest contributor to the clinic
is Aurora Health Care. The generosity of Aurora provides approximately
80% of the funding for the clinic. Another 10% of the funding comes from
the Assurant Health Fund. Health Care for the Homeless provides
approximately 5% of the clinic's funding. The remaining 5% of the
clinics funds stems from other sources such as RW Jones, SLMC
Philanthropy and Milwaukee AHEC.
The funding that the clinic receives
from these generous groups and individuals allows for the continuation of
excellence in care that Walker's Point provides to its clientele.
