The Aurora Wellness Center initiated Family Time as an additional
privilege of membership. Family Time is intended to provide a safe and
fun environment, during which parents and their children can share
quality time together. In order to maintain a high level of safety, it
is necessary to implement certain rules and regulations. We ask for your
family's cooperation in following these regulations so that everyone can
enjoy Family Time. We greatly appreciate your continued support of our
facility!
General Guidelines:
Family time is for MEMBERS and their immediate family only
(Includes spouse and/or children/grandchildren 17 years and under).
Member must complete a waiver for their immediate family at the
Service Desk.
Member must remain in the facility with their family at all
times.
Parent/grandparent must supervise children/grandchildren at all
times.
It is the responsibility of our members to return locker keys to
the Service Desk. Lost key charge is $20.
Locker Rooms:
Members with children/grandchildren 14 years and under are
required to use the family or student locker rooms. Member locker
rooms are reserved for members and guests 15 years and older.
Fitness Areas:
Children 14 years and under are not permitted on the fitness
floor. This includes cardiovascular and strength equipment,
free-weight and stretching areas, stability balls, Bosu balls, mats,
body bars, etc.
Use of group exercise studio and spin room is prohibited during
Family Fitness Time.
Children 8-14 years must be accompanied by a parent/grandparent
when using the track and racquetball court; children 7 years and
under are prohibited.
A maximum of four people are allowed on the racquetball court.
Parent/grandparent may carry babies in a Snugli™, Baby Bjorn™,
or baby backpack while walking on the track.
Pool Area:
Please supply your own towels.
Parents/grandparents must accompany their children/grandchildren
at all times.
Proper swim attire is required in the pool (i.e. swimsuit, swim
trunks).
Showers are required prior to use of all pools.
Street shoes are not permitted on the pool deck.
Swim diapers are required for children who are not toilet
trained.
Personal flotation devices are not permitted.
No diving, running, or rough play in the pool area.
Warm water therapy pool may be used by children/grandchildren 7
years and under when accompanied by parent/grandparent.

Friday -- 5:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday -- 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Sunday -- 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
