The Aurora Wellness Center initiated Family Time as an additional
privilege of membership. Family Time is intended to provide a safe and
fun environment, during which parents and their children can share
quality time together. In order to maintain a high level of safety, it
is necessary to implement certain rules and regulations. We ask for your
family's cooperation in following these regulations so that everyone can
enjoy Family Time. We greatly appreciate your continued support of our
facility!
General guidelines
Family Time is for members and their immediate family only
(children must be under 18-years-old).
Member must be present at check-in desk with family members in
order for them to be admitted into facility.
If your child is left unattended, you will be paged to the front
desk.
Fitness area/locker rooms
Parents must accompany their child at all times!
Children, 8-14 years-old, must be accompanied by a parent to use
the track and the racquetball court.
No more than 4 people are allowed on the racquetball court at
any given time.
No one under 15-years-old is allowed in the Member Locker Rooms
at any time.
Children under 15-years-old are not permitted on the Fitness
Floor. This includes the cardiovascular and strength equipment, as
well as the free-weight and stretching area.
All family members must bring their own towels.
Pool area guidelines
Parents must accompany child at all times.
Children under 8-years-old are allowed in the warm water therapy
pool with an adult.
Children under 15-years-old are not allowed in the whirlpool.
Swim diapers are required for children who are not potty
trained.
A shower is required prior to entering the pool.
There is no running or rough play allowed in the pool area.
Proper swim attire is required in the pool (i.e., swimsuit,
trunks, & T-shirts).
Personal floatation devices are not admitted in the pool (i.e.,
water wings or inner-tubes). If you are unable to swim without such
devices, ask a lifeguard and a device will be provided for you.
No diving.
Family Time hours
Friday -- 5:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday -- 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Sunday -- 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
