Who we are
Aurora Medical Center in Summit opened for patient on Monday, March 1, 2010. Completion of this regional medical center fulfilled our dream of bringing coordinated health care to the 60,000+ patients we already serve in that community and to the people of western Waukesha County.
To better serve the needs of our growing patient base, Aurora Medical Center in Summit was built to include all of the services any patient would need, all under one roof. The medical center offers a full range of inpatient, outpatient and retail services and a team of expert physicians and specialists in one convenient location. The campus connects the medical center to the Aurora Wilkinson Medical Clinic and the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic.
We recognize the importance of convenience and comfort for our patients and their families and therefore designed a healing environment to offer just that. Our modern, efficient building design is easy to navigate with related services on the same floor and five different building entrances allow patients to choose the entrance most convenient for them. Numerous patient-centered elements, such as unlimited visiting hours, individual patient room temperature controls, home-like décor and family lounges, are incorporated throughout as well.
At the Aurora Medical Center in Summit, patients experience a new approach to health care that is designed around the individual patient, combining clinical excellence with a unique healing environment. Here, the focus is not just on treatment, but on education and our caregivers help patients make key choices about their care.
