Aurora to open Wilkinson women's health center
Milwaukee Business Journal, Feb. 8, 2006
Aurora Wilkinson Medical Clinic plans to open a center for
women's health services in Oconomowoc by late summer or early fall.
Aurora Health Care, Milwaukee, will lease 14,100 square feet of
space in a soon-to-be constructed site on Summit Avenue. The center
will be staffed by five obstetricians and gynecologists who
currently work at the Wilkinson clinic, 915 Summit Ave., in
Oconomowoc. About 15 support staff members also will work at the
location, spokesman Jeff Squire said. The city of Oconomowoc must
still approve the center.
The women's services are being relocated because of a space
shortage at the Wilkinson clinic, Squire said. Those services will
eventually be relocated to Aurora's proposed hospital in Summit.
The center will have exam rooms and diagnostic services such as
mammography and ultrasound.
