| One of the most important
factors in choosing a hospital site is quick and easy access for emergency
vehicles, patients, family members, visitors, physicians and employees. By
this measure, the Town of Summit site would be ideal. |

Highway traffic noise not suited for hospital (letter to the
editor)
Oconomowoc Enterprise, June 8, 2006
As a former longtime employee of Pabst Farms Inc., I have spent
considerable time on the former Pabst property near I-94, as well as
on the Pabst lake, plus visiting the Summit cemetery.
Have the Aurora hospital officials ever experienced the constant
roar of the I-94 traffic, including the huge diesel semis changing
gears at the (Highway) 67-94 interchange?
It has always been the opinion that hospitals should be built at a
location sharing a quiet environment.
The unending noise near the northeast of Interstate 94 and Highway
67 of the Pabst Farms property cannot be heard just looking at a map
of the area. It is a better location for a bowling alley.
