City must put citizenry before hospital loyalty (letter to the editor)

Oconomowoc Focus, June 6, 2006

After reading the decision from Judge Kieffer, it is time for the City of Oconomowoc to stop protecting ProHealth and start thinking about the citizens of Oconomowoc.

It is the citizens of Oconomowoc who are going to have to pay for the legal fees and damages that are the result of Oconomowocs attempt to wrongfully shield Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital from any competition in western Waukesha County.

I would hope that the City of Oconomowoc and the Town of Summit can now sit down with Aurora and work our a suitable agreement for all concerned.
