John Naida, MD, is a radiation oncologist specially trained in the use of various forms of radiation for the treatment of cancer and other diseases. Dr. Naida treats all kinds of tumors, specializing in radiation therapy for breast and prostate cancers, and palliative care. He uses external radiation treatments, as well as radioactive seed implant therapy for prostate cancer and accelerated partial breast radiation therapy (Mammosite) for breast cancer. He also has expertise in the use of Gamma Knife radiosurgery for the treatment of brain tumors.
Dr. Naida is a member of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology and the Ethics Committee at Aurora West Allis Medical Center. He enjoys public speaking about cancer prevention and early detection. (06/08)
