Biography

As a board-certified general surgeon, Peter Garza Jr., MD, primarily specializes in performing laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures. Dr. Garza's training as a general surgeon has provided him with experience in the surgical treatment of a wide range of diseases and conditions. Also, Dr. Garza completed a mini-fellowship program in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery through the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio.

Dr. Garza's expertise includes performing laparoscopic bariatric (weight loss) surgery procedures, such as Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, adjustable gastric banding and sleeve gastrectomy. He also specializes in the treatment of varicose and spider veins using the most current therapies available. (11/10)
