Biography
Dr. Ballecer earned his medical degree at the University of the Philippines and then completed residencies at the Philippine General Hospital Medical Center (ophthalmology) and the Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago (internal medicine).

Dr. Ballecer believes that medicine is not a business, but a profession that deals with human lives. So he promotes an open, compassionate relationship with his patients.

"In my practice, I encourage equal participation between doctor and patient," he says. "I want my patients to be very involved in their care and to take an active role in their total health and wellness."

Dr. Ballecer enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis and golf, swimming and biking. He is actively involved in several area charities.
