"I encourage my patients to ask questions, discuss their concerns and participate in the decision-making process so that they are comfortable with the final treatment choice."
In 1985, I received my medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine in Madison. My transitional program internship was served at the Southwest Michigan Area Health Education Center in Kalamazoo, Mich. in 1986. My orthopaedic surgery residency was completed at Michigan State University, Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies in 1991. I then completed a fellowship in orthopaedic surgery-sports medicine at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Ala. in 1992. I am board certified in orthopaedic surgery.
Away from the clinic, I enjoy all types of sports and running.
