Dr. Wigton is board certified in obstetrics/gynecology with subspecialty certification in maternal fetal medicine. As a maternal fetal medicine specialist, he has extensive experience in high-risk obstetrics, OB/GYN ultrasound and prenatal diagnosis. His special interests include gestational diabetes and pre-term labor.
Fellowship-trained at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Wigton focuses his work on utilizing the most advanced technology available to provide high-risk obstetrical patients with expert care and valuable information regarding their health and the well-being of their unborn child.
In addition to his care of women with high-risk pregnancies, Dr. Wigton has been actively engaged as both a clinical assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee Clinical Campus and an associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He has over 80 publications and presentations to his credit.
