Women’s Health Care: Comprehensive women’s health services at Aurora Sinai offer you options care at every stage of life, including high-risk pregnancy assessments, advanced breast health treatments and minimally invasive surgery. Wisconsin’s largest midwifery practice and downtown Milwaukee’s only Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) provide with a team of specialists is on duty, 24/7 days to address the needs of premature babies or infants with special concerns. Our ExclusivelyForWomen clinic offers health care services in a relaxed, sensitive environment. Plus, you’ll find our Comprehensive Breast Care Center—recognized by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers. Here, you can also take advantage of Sinai’s minimally invasive gynecologic surgery program, pelvic floor therapy, and a Sexual Assault Treatment Center offering care for those who have experienced abuse.
Senior Services: Our Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) Unit is Wisconsin’s first inpatient unit dedicated to improving the care of older patients in the hospital with a homelike environment and a multidisciplinary team of professionals who offer services including geriatric counseling to meet the unique social, psychological and emotional needs of seniors. Plus, the Center for Senior Health and Longevity offersconsultative services in the areas of memory loss, falls and balance, and geriatric evaluation management—focused on maintaining and enhancing healthy lifestyles for adults age 65 and older.
Aurora Sports Medicine Institute: The Institute offers you quality servicesfor all ages—from the weekend warrior to theprofessional athlete, including state-of-the-art treatmentof sports-related injuries along with injury prevention andperformance enhancement programs.Signature programs include:free injury evaluations;Performance Golf; Jump Start Performance Camp; Performance Running; Performance Pitching and Throwing.Comprehensive services include:physical therapy and rehabilitation of orthopedicand sports-related injuries; rehabilitation following joint replacement; sport-specific performance programs;VO2 Max/Anaerobic Threshold testing; custom foot orthotics; and contracted athletic.
Bariatric Surgery Services: As the first hospital in Milwaukee to offer both traditional bariatric surgery and minimally invasive alternatives, Aurora Sinai is leading the way to help patients win the fight against obesity by combining surgery with psychological and nutritional support. Aurora Sinai was designated a national Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence by the American Society for Bariatric Surgery for providing comprehensive, proven options for treating severe obesity.
Milwaukee Heart Institute/Cardiac Services: Recognized for fighting heart disease, we feature state-of-the-art treatments, prevention and personal attention. We offer an electrophysiology program that’s recognized worldwide, a peripheral vascular clinic, pacemaker clinic, catheterization lab, and wellness and prevention programs for our patients. Orthopedic Services: From non-surgical options and minimally invasive procedures to computer-assisted surgical technology, you’ll find the latest advancements in orthopedic care to meet your diverse needs and allow you to remain healthy and active. Our comprehensive and coordinated orthopedic services can help you improve your quality of life and reduce your pain. We offer specialized orthopedic care to address injuries and disorders from head to toe including: spine and neck; shoulder; hand, wrist and elbow; hip; knee; foot and ankle. We also offer the following services: cartilage repair; joint repair and replacement; acute and chronic pain management; sports medicine; and general orthopedics.
Rehabilitation Services: The rehabilitation services at Aurora Sinai Medical Center feature inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services and therapy for patients of all ages, and a comprehensive team of physical medicine, rehabilitation and therapy specialists who provide personalized treatment programs to decrease patients’ physical limits and restore function. Our patient-centered programs offer a full scope of treatment options that address a wide variety of needs including: physical therapy; occupational therapy; balance and vestibular therapy; and acute and chronic pain management.
Cancer Services: Here we offer you and your family support that fights cancer on all fronts—with education, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and support. A multidisciplinary team of specialists, including board-certified oncologists, surgeons, hematologists and registered nurses certified in oncology, along with support staff work in tandem to meet your social and emotional concerns.
