Introducing key leaders at Aurora Medical Center in Summit
Fran Finley, Chief Administrative Officer
Fran began her new role as chief administrative officer of
Aurora Medical Center in Summit in January 2009 with a proven track record of working with physician leadership to develop a highly regarded medical staff, and comprehensive programs and
services to meet the growing health care needs of the community. Since joining Aurora Health Care in February 2003, Fran has served as vice president and chief administrative officer of
Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh with responsibility for financial accountability and oversight of daily operations. She was instrumental to the opening of the Aurora Medical Center in
Oshkosh. She oversaw the hiring of staff and management team, prepared all required policies, processes and procedures to meet regulatory requirements, and developed community support for
the new medical center. Under Fran's leadership, the Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh received several honors.
Prior to joining Aurora, Fran was with the Charleston Area Medical Center Health System Inc., where she gained progressive leadership experience in various positions, including as
neuroscience program director, administrator for neurosciences, vice president for neurological, orthopedic and trauma services (later to include women and children's services), and as
administrator and vice president of Charleston Area Medical Center General Hospital.
Fran brings a rich blend of academic knowledge and leadership experience to the new medical center. Fran completed a Doctor of Health Administration from Central Michigan University in
2005. She holds a master's degree in health care administration from Washington University in St. Louis, M., and a bachelor's degree in administrative management from Southwest Missouri
State University.
Jean Beaudette, Director of Nursing Services/Chief Nurse Executive
In August 2009, Jean Beaudette began her new role as director of nursing
services/chief nurse executive for Aurora Medical Center in Summit. Jean knows what it takes to deliver exceptional care. Jean, a registered nurse, has served as director of patient care
services and chief nurse executive at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center since 2007. She has a proven track record of working with medical staff, nursing staff and other caregivers
to develop exceptional patient experiences.
Prior to joining Aurora, Jean was with Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital in Commerce, Mich., where she gained progressive leadership experience in various positions, including as project
coordinator in charge of implementing the hospital's patient care delivery model, administrative director of nursing operations and emergency services, and as interim vice president of
patient care services. In total, Jean has 32 years of experience in nursing care and leadership.
