Aurora Summer Nurse Extern Program

Clinical opportunities await senior standing nursing students in the Summer Extern Program at Aurora Health Care, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Our extern program prepares you for your transition to Graduate Nurse. Become part of a nationally recognized nursing practice – our nursing staff was redesignated with Magnet status from ANA for outstanding clinical nursing practice.

Eligibility

Students attending schools outside the greater Milwaukee area who have one year or less to graduation. A grade point of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in the student’s academic program is required. Desire to work as a Graduate Nurse at Aurora Health Care after graduation.

Salary

Externs will work the same schedule as their assigned preceptors. They will receive a competitive hourly wage during their externship.
