Amin H. Afsari, DO is a skilled orthopedic hand and upper extremity surgeon with residency experience in hand, foot, pediatric and trauma surgery. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Dr. Afsari completed his osteopathic medicine degree at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. He completed his fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the New York University Hospital for Joint Disease. A soccer fan, referee and player, Dr. Afsari knows the value of having joint mobility and control and what role they play in the quality of life for his patients. He works to find solutions that allow his patients to continue with the activities that they love but have been put on hold for fear of further injury or severe pain. Dr. Afsari is a member of many professional societies including, the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Osteopathic Association.
