A caring and very thorough physician, Dr. Broihier is board-certified in cardiology. He emphasizes reciprocal communication between doctor and patient so that he can help his patients understand their illness as much as possible and, in turn, address their concerns, fears and expectations. His strong clinical judgement for patients invaluable as he performs heart catheterizations, stress tests, angioplasty, stress echoes, holters and cardioversions.

He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, in Milwaukee and served his internship and residency there as well. He completed a fellowship tenure at Sinai Samaritan Medical Center in Milwaukee. In 1985, he received a magna cum laude honor from University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Dr. Broihier co-authored a research paper involving posterior wall motion of the heart.

Born and raised in Racine, Wisconsin, he now lives in New Berlin with his wife and two children. They all enjoy traveling, sports and boating together.
