A specialist in general surgery, Dr. Rosner provides care for a wide spectrum of surgical problems. Hernia repairs, gallbladder and thyroid surgery, and cancer operations of the colon and breast are among the surgeries he often performs. His expertise includes state-of-the-art procedures such as sentinel lymph note biopsy for breast cancer and melanoma. He also performs minimally invasive surgery for hyperparathyroidism. Dr. Rosner received his medical degree in 1984 from New York Medical College. He completed a surgical residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in 1989, followed by a fellowship in critical care at the Maryland shock trauma center in Baltimore. Board certified in both general surgery and surgical critical care, Dr. Rosner also is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Rosner has practiced in the Milwaukee area since 1991.
