Guidelines for nursing job shadowing

Dress code

Appropriate professional attire is expected. Jeans, t-shirts, cropped/tank tops, shirts or tops with writing, messages, or advertisements are not allowed. Open toed shoes or sandals are also not allowed. A general rule is to keep shoulders and knees covered. Tennis shoes may be worn if they are clean and in good condition.

Miscellaneous information

• Bring a photo identification with you to the job shadow experience
• Review job shadow form
• Aurora Health Care mission and values

Bring the job shadow form and parental permission form(if under eighteen years of age) to the experience.

Confirmation

Your job shadowing experience will be confirmed via email.

Evaluation

You will be sent an evaluation form to fill out via email. Please fill out after your shadowing experience.
