Craniosacral therapy

Acupuncture | Yoga | Massage | Craniosacral therapy | Meditation | Tai Chi | Aromatherapy

Imagine reducing the negative effects of stress simply by using a touch technique on the skull and tailbone. That is exactly what Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is designed to do.

Based on the belief that our bodies know how to heal themselves, Craniosacral Therapy involves identifying and releasing restrictions in the body caused by physical or emotional trauma. When restrictions are stored in the body it impedes our ability to heal and can cause additional problems. Using gentle, non-invasive touch, the CST therapists can find areas of imbalance and correct them.

Our craniosacral therapists are certified through the Upledger Institute, led by John Upledger, the physician who developed the therapy.

Anyone who experiences stresses of daily life can benefit from Craniosacral Therapy as part of their wellness routine. This form of therapy is also beneficial for anyone suffering from a trauma such as a car accident, surgery, sprains or strains. It is also effective for the treatment of migraine headaches, TMJ (temporal mandibular joint) problems, chronic neck and back pain, motor coordination impairments, autism, neurovascular or immune disorders, tinnitus and middle ear problems, cerebral palsy, asthma, sinusitis, bronchitis and chronic fatigue.
