If you have recently been diagnosed with gynecologic cancer, don't worry, you don't have to face this alone. At the Aurora Women's Pavilion, our gynecologic oncology care coordination team will listen to your concerns, answer your questions and be by your side as you face your treatment and rebuild a focus on living a life of optimal health and wellness. We have care coordinators who can assist you with your outpatient visits and another there for you during your inpatient stay and beyond. From scheduling appointments for diagnostic testing to acquainting you with the vast choices of complementary resources, your personal care coordinators are the people you can turn to during your medical care. They are your advocates and educators, your personal assistants who try to anticipate your needs to help you avoid some of the frustrations that come with this serious diagnosis.
