Aurora Psychiatric Hospital
The
Eating Disorder Program at Aurora Psychiatric Hospital
Eating disorders are a silent disease, destroying the physical and mental
health of millions of Americans every year. Now, Aurora Psychiatric Hospital
is providing an evidenced-based approach to treating eating disorders in
adolescents and adults.
The Eating Disorder Program offers several levels of care for patients
ages 13 and over who are struggling with disordered eating. We offer
inpatient care for stabilization as well as full day partial hospitalization
which provides comprehensive programming for patients who are struggling
with disordered eating patterns.
Our evening program enables our patients to continue with school, work
and other family life activities while still providing intensive outpatient
therapy for eating disorders. Our programs include family involvement and
are designed to help patients develop the skills they need to make lifelong
change. We are committed to eating disorder treatment that is
evidenced-based and cost effective.
We provide comprehensive services for most eating disorders including
