Adult Behavioral Health Intensive Outpatient Programs

The intensive outpatient program provides a treatment alternative for individuals who are in need of longer and more frequent behavioral health treatment sessions. The program can be particularly helpful for individuals who are struggling with severe depression as well as those who have difficulty experiencing emotional pain without responding in an impulsive or avoidant manner, which often tends to make highly stressful situations worse.

The program uses a group treatment format and meets three times per week for three hours each session. Thus, the program provides structure, support, and the opportunity to learn proactive skills for coping more effectively with life problems.
