A new model for treating adolescent alcohol & drug abuse

Dr. Michael Bohn was named one of America's Top Addiction Psychiatrists for 2004-2005. Dr. Bohn recently spoke to a group of social workers, nurses and school psychologists about what the science tells us regarding adolescent drug and alcohol abuse, and why conventional treatment methodologies need to change.

In the first segment of his presentation, Dr. Bohn outlined the reasons adolescents are so prone to substance abuse. In this segment, Dr. Bohn talks about a new model for treating addiction.
