Alcohol Use Screening Tool

Welcome to the alcohol assessment site. This site uses the AUDIT assessment screener to provide feedback regarding your level of alcohol consumption. The AUDIT was developed by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a simple method of screening for excessive drinking and to assist in brief assessment. It can help in identifying excessive drinking as the cause of the presenting illness. It also provides a framework for assessment and intervention to help some drinkers reduce or cease alcohol consumption and thereby avoid the harmful consequences of their drinking. Your responses are completely confidential and are intended to provide immediate feedback concerning patterns of alcohol use.

Try to answer the questions in terms of 'standard drinks'. Please view image for clarification if required.
