Let's make 2008 a year of healing and rebuilding of our lives. Support group is going strong and we've added guided imagery to the end of each session, so come and relax your stress away. Below you will find some information on an upcoming event you may be interested in, bring your medication questions with you. Looks like they provide food, too! Always remember that Kim and I are available to all of you any time, so give us call or shoot us an email and we will respond as soon as we can. Also, my book was released in July entitled, "Faithful Journey: Memoirs of a Breast Cancer Survivor," available in our book store or online at BarnesandNoble.com, Target.com, etc. It's a quick read and if you want me to sign it, bring it to the support group. This is a 23-minute VHS tape that gives you a look at how a few women have dealt with their cancer and are moving beyond. It is excellent and I recommend it to all of you. Well," she said, "I think I'll braid my hair today?" So she did and she had a wonderful day. The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and saw that she had only 2 hairs on her head. "H-M-M," she said, "I think I'll part my hair down the middle today?" So she did and she had a grand day. The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that she had only 1 hair on her head. "Well," she said, "today I'm going to wear my hair in a pony tail." So she did and she had a fun, fun day. The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that there wasn't a single hair on her head. "YEA!" she exclaimed, "I don't have to fix my hair today!" Attitude is everything. Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
