Aurora Comprehensive Breast Care Centers

Breast Care Centers Accreditation

NAPBC AccreditationAurora Health Care is home to five breast centers that are accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers, a program administered by the American College of Surgeons.

This certification and national honor ensures that our patients will have access to:

  • Comprehensive care, including a full range of state-of-the-art services
  • A multidisciplinary team approach to coordinate the best treatment options
  • Information about ongoing clinical trials and new treatments options
  • Quality breast care closer to home

The centers are at the following locations:

A key component is the team of medical, radiation and surgical oncologists and other specialists that meet weekly to review the best recommendations for each patient.

The center also offers a High Risk Clinic to determine your chances of getting breast cancer and recommend a course of action.

We recognize the anxiety while waiting for test results. Protocols have been established to significantly reduce waiting times between an abnormal mammogram, a biopsy procedure and notifying the patient about test results.
