Melanoma: Our team

The Aurora multi-disciplinary melanoma team consists of various specialists including surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, plastic surgeons, psychiatrists, pharmacists, nurses, specialized imaging technologists and cancer program coordinators.

Our team of experts meets during a weekly case conference to discuss the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of patients. The case conference is an example of the collaboration that occurs across medical specialties at Aurora. Personalized treatment plans are developed for patients using the most effective treatment options including research trial opportunities.
