Aurora has a multispecialty approach to handling patients with valve disease/structural heart disease. That means a team, including cardiologists, surgeons and social workers, collaborates to provide appropriate treatment options for each unique patient situation.
The valve services team approach avoids any bias a doctor may have for a particular treatment option. With Aurora’s approach, physicians from a variety of specialties can contribute their expertise to determine the best options.
