Aurora St. Luke's strives to be a state-of-the-art GI center. We are committed to the continued advancement of technology for the benefit of our patients. Aurora St. Luke's was the first Wisconsin center to perform esophageal ablation for the treatment of Barrett's esophagus, and also double-balloon enteroscopy for the treatment of small bowel disorders. Aurora St. Luke's has earned the classification of a Magnet Designated Hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Excellence in nursing care and an emphasis on staff education were key factors in receiving this designation. Physicians from other locations often refer difficult cases to our gastroenterologists because our physicians are well-published with strong research links and cutting edge technology availability.
