Aurora Sinai Medical Center GI ServicesAurora Sinai Medical Center is centrally located in the heart of Milwaukee, serving the needs of our inner city community. Adjacent to both Marquette University and Sarah Scott Middle School on the corner of 12th and State streets, we offer convenient parking with the use of our free valet service. We serve the clients of Aurora Sinai Medical Center by managing a highly technical state-of-the-art patient care environment. Our facility is rich with skilled, experienced nursing and ancillary personnel to care for the needs of our GI patients and their families. Our clients will have caregivers with backgrounds representative of our community's culturally diverse population. Our services are based on endoscopic procedures, such as upper endoscopies and colonoscopies. Additionally, we are specialized to provide both diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP's, a nonsurgical procedure addressing biliary system issues. Emphasis is placed on internal as well as external customer satisfaction. Indicators used to give feedback for care include the outpatient comment card system, and the patient loyalty index for the inpatient population. The nursing staff creates a healing environment focused on patient-centered care. In our GI setting, the nursing staff supports the patients through all phases of their endoscopy procedures. We pay special attention to the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of those we serve. The nursing staff also provides educational opportunities that empower patients to achieve a healthy lifestyle through a variety of resources. Our services are multi-faceted in establishing a partnership with our patients and with our community. |
