Diagnostic and treatment procedures
The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art instruments to diagnose and treat gastrointestinal problems. For accurate diagnosis, a lighted tube or endoscope is passed into the stomach, small or large intestine. A tissue sample for biopsy can also be obtained.
In order to make colonoscopies as convenient as possible for our patients, Aurora Medical Center offers these important tests Monday through Saturday.
