ENTs offer many treatments for children with disorders of the ears, nose and throat, ranging from cleft lip and palate repair to tonsillectomies – and everything in between. Our pediatric ENT specialists understand the unique needs of children and know that they are not just “little adults.” Although some of the treatments we offer are similar for both children and adults, the care we provide is not the same. We are dedicated to making sure your child gets the best possible care from a compassionate staff that truly cares about your child’s welfare.

Ear, nose and throat specialists (ENTs) at Aurora Health Care diagnose and treat disorders of the skull base, including the pituitary gland. One of the procedures Aurora ENTs perform is a minimally invasive surgical technique called endoscopic anterior skull base surgery. This type of minimally invasive surgery involves the use of a tiny camera called an endoscope that is placed in the skull base through the nose (transnasal). With help of the endoscope, ENTs can resect large tumors near the skull base without an incision, which can alleviate retraction on the brain. The endoscope offers additional benefits as well, making tumor resection a safer procedure.
ENTs diagnose and treat a number of conditions that can lead to snoring and sleep apnea. Sometimes snoring and sleep apnea are caused by problems with structures in the nose, mouth or throat, such as the tongue, tonsils and epiglottis. Aurora Health Care ENTs perform surgical procedures to correct these problems in hopes of curing or improving snoring and sleep apnea.
