Click here for more details. Collaborative health careMany people are reluctant to seek help. They are far more likely to seek medical treatment for physical complaints which are frequent symptoms of unresolved social or family issues or lifestyle choices. This is particularly true of the low-income, minority populations that are often underserved by the health care system. Family Service partners with Aurora's care clinics, community resource centers and other care sites (currently 15 sites in the Milwaukee area and southern Wisconsin) to provide marriage and family therapy and information and referral for their patients. Working collaboratively with the team of health care providers, Family Service staff are able to assess patients' needs and provide immediate mental health and advocacy services to support healthy living. For more information, call Aurora Family Service at 414-342-4560.
