Treatment for spinal fracturesDiagnosis may be made with X-rays, computed tomography (CT or CAT scan) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). For those who already suffer from spinal fracture, new, minimally invasive surgical procedures, such as vertebroplasty, are now available to stabilize fractures and provide pain relief. Medication, casts, braces or spinal fusion may be necessary.
