How is Aurora QuickCare provided?

When you arrive at Aurora QuickCare, our certified nurse practitioner will take you to a private testing area to take your health history and basic personal information before assessing your medical needs. If it is determined that you are too sick for a simple test, you will be referred to your doctor, a primary care clinic, an urgent care center or an emergency department, depending on your needs.

If your symptoms are consistent with one of several common medical conditions (strep throat, ear infection, sinus infection, pink eye, mononucleosis, urinary tract infection, pregnancy), a quick test will be conducted (mouth swab, urine sample, etc.) on site.

If the test result is positive, you'll receive the appropriate prescription. If the test is negative, you'll be instructed on how to manage and/or relieve your symptoms and when to see a physician.
