Cardiac Rehabilitation

Cardiac Rehabilitation is a program designed to help you safely return to your daily activities after a heart event and educate you in what heart disease is and how to control its progression. Your rehab program will include EKG monitoring and blood pressure checks with each session with reports to your physician as needed. An exercise prescription will be developed on an individual basis to best suit each person's needs and abilities.

Cardiac Rehab is designed for people with known coronary artery disease or heart disease. This may include those who have recently had a heart attack, coronary artery bypass graph (CABG), valve repair or replacement, PTCA/STENT or heart transplant.

The CR program is led by a team of exercise physiologists and nurses, and utilizes other disciplines when necessary.
