A wide-variety of learners from local universities and high schools, and the Masters of Public Health programs at the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute and the Medical College of Wisconsin, also participate in AUWMG research.

The collaborative nature of academic medical research may well result in new connections, which Dr. Baumgardner, director of research for Aurora UW Medical Group and associate director for the Center for Urban Population Health, encourages. “Our focus on continuing improvement and quality health care is initiated through research, so we are always interested in developing successful research efforts.”
