Nina K. Garlie, PhD
Dr. Garlie received her PhD in Pathology from the Medical College of Wisconsin (Milwaukee, Wisconsin). She has been an Aurora Health Care caregiver since 1996. In addition to serving as the director for the Regenerative Medicine Center, she is the administrative and Cell Processing Laboratory director for the Autologous Stem Cell Transplant Program. She serves on the Aurora Institutional Review Board and is the chair of the Council for Quality Improvement and Compliance in Patient-Centered Research.
Bob received his bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology from Marquette University and MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Bob worked as a Med Tech in a hospital clinical lab setting before joining Aurora’s Management Team in 2008.
Administrative Assistant, Sr.
Diane has 15 years of experience in administrative support, originally hired at Aurora in 2011 as a medical transcriptionist and later joining the Regenerative Medicine team in February 2014.
Jill Barz, BSMT (ASCP)
Quality Improvement Coordinator, Sr.
Jill received her Bachelor of Science from Marquette University and is certified as a Medical Technologist by the American Society of Clinical Pathology. She has 20 years of experience working in a clinical lab and has focused exclusively in quality since 2002. She is certified by the American Society of Quality as a Quality Improvement Associate and is the Quality Improvement Coordinator for the Autologous Stem Cell Transplant Program.
Kate Dennert, BS
Research Associate, Data Coordinator
Kate received her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with a focus in Molecular Biology from UW-Parkside. She has been an Aurora caregiver since 2000, previously working in the Transplant Research Lab at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center acquiring several publications. She joined the Regenerative Medicine Center in 2008. She is a part of the Autologous Stem Cell Transplant program and also works on various clinical trials.
Deb Donohoe, BA
Deborah received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Marquette University. She comes to the Aurora team with more than 25 years of experience in biomedical research, has peer reviewed publications and has presented at scientific meetings. She has been with Aurora since August 2014.
Jamie Huebschen, RN
Oncology, ASCT Program Coordinator
Jamie graduated from UW-Milwaukee in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and has been working for Aurora in the area of oncology since graduation. She has worked on the inpatient oncology floor at Aurora St. Luke’s for 9 years before taking on the ASCT coordinator role in 2013.
Jaime Kroll, BS
Jaime received her bachelor’s degree in Biology from UW-Platteville in 2001. She joined Aurora in 2007 as a Research Associate and transitioned to Data Coordinator for the Autologous Stem Cell Transplant Program in February of 2012.
Rob graduated from UW-Parkside in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences. He has been a caregiver for Aurora Health Care since 2006 and spent his first 7 years working as a Laboratory Technician in the Transfusion Services at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center before joining the Regenerative Medicine Center in January 2014.
Angela Timler, MS
Research Associate, Sr.
Angela received her Master of Science from the Medical College of Wisconsin (Milwaukee, WI). She has been an Aurora caregiver since 2005. She is part of the Autologous Stem Cell Transplant Program as well as participates in many Oncology and Cardiac clinical trials.
