Center
for Senior Health and Longevity offers memory loss
assessments
The Center for Senior Health and Longevity offers memory loss assessments in partnership
with the Wisconsin Alzheimer's Institute.
The assessments are provided as a
consultation service to physicians, agencies and all others interested in
improving the quality of life for persons affected by Alzheimer's
Disease and other dementias.
Memory
loss assessments are performed by a team including a geriatrician,
a neuropsychologist and a social worker. Assessments include a comprehensive
examination and suggested treatment plan. The results are shared with
the patient, family and referring physician.
The Wisconsin Alzheimer's
Institute is an academic center within the University of
Wisconsin that represents a private/public partnership between the Helen
Bader Foundation, the State of
Wisconsin and the University of Wisconsin Medical School. It is
dedicated to improving the availability of services and the quality of
care provided to persons affected by
Alzheimer's Disease and related dementias.
The Center for Senior Health and Longevity provides leadership and expertise in geriatrics
care, research and education for residents of eastern Wisconsin. It is
committed to serving older adults with comprehensive, high quality and
holistic geriatrics services utilizing
a multidisciplinary team approach.
