The new Aurora Women’s Pavilion in Franklin builds on this tradition by offering access to more OB/GYN experts in Milwaukee’s south side community, plus leading primary care doctors and services to help women throughout their lifetimes.
Our labor and delivery teams are experienced in handling both normal and high-risk pregnancies. Our advanced services for women with high-risk pregnancies include access to:
- Maternal-fetal medicine physicians for comprehensive, state-of-the-art testing in collaboration with your provider
- Genetic counselors to help define your personal risk for having a child with birth defects or genetic problems
- Diabetic educators, nurses and endocrinologists to help you manage diabetes or other endocrine disorders that can occur during your pregnancy
You also have the peace-of-mind that comes with delivering at a hospital that features a Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) to provide an unparalleled level of care and attention to the needs of premature infants and those facing other health risks.

The Women's Health and Wellness Center at Aurora Women's Pavilion offers women of all ages access to the tools for total well-being. Created for women by women, our programs and clinics offer an innovative new approach to care designed to enhance your overall physical and emotional health. Female Adolescent Medicine: The Aurora Women’s Health and Wellness Center offers a unique approach to health care for today’s young women. Our caring experts are sensitive to the specific health care issues that are common during teenage years and take the time to listen and provide education, diagnosis and treatment in a respectful environment.
Vulvar Health Clinic: Vulvar pain, or vulvodynia, can result from injury or irritation of the nerves in this area, vaginal infections, hormonal birth control, allergies or localized sensitivity of the skin in this area or dermatologic disorders. A thorough history and exam will determine treatment.
Sexual Medicine Clinic: Female sexual dysfunction (FSD) is one of the most underdiagnosed medical issues in the United States. Disorders fall into four categories, including sexual desire disorders, sexual arousal disorders, orgasmic disorders and pain disorders. Our multidisciplinary team of experts works to address and resolve each of your concerns and to determine the best treatment.
Women’s Rheumatology Clinic: Persistent pain or fatigue caused by rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, lupus or gout can greatly impact your quality of life. Our rheumatologist has advanced training in diagnosing and treating conditions related to joints, bones, muscles and the immune system.
Menopausal Medicine: For menopause symptoms such as hot flashes or concerns about bone health, sexual function or heart disease, we can assess your needs and help create a personalized plan for your care. Beginning with an hour-long consultation, we can discuss whether hormonal treatment or non-hormonal treatment is right for you.
Cancer Wellness: The physical and emotional effects of cancer treatment can occur during, immediately after or years later. We will work with you to develop a survivorship care plan, which includes a summary of your cancer treatments as well as a road map for continued care. In addition, we help you address certain health issues specific to cancer treatments such as potential loss of fertility or sexual health concerns. Women’s Wellness Clinic: Our providers are available for your comprehensive annual well woman exam or to discuss other women’s health issues including but not limited to menopause, contraception, polycystic ovarian syndrome or vaginal infections. In addition, if you’re in need of a primary care physician or obstetrician/gynecologist, we can help you find a physician to meet your needs.
Women’s Endrocrinology Clinic: In women, the endocrine system plays a role in fertility, pregnancy, menopause and other gynecologic issues. We offer a caring and sensitive approach to addressing hormonal disorders specific to woman, and diagnosing and managing endocrine-related issues including diabetes, thyroid, pituitary or adrenal diseases.
Center for Incontinence and Pelvic Floor Reconstruction
The Center for Incontinence and Pelvic Floor Reconstruction is comprised of specialists who work together to provide you with highly effective diagnosis and treatment. Through a multidisciplinary team of urogynecologists, gastroenterologists, occupational therapists and nurses, we can help you identify the source of your condition and create a personalized plan to address your concerns.
